My boss is going to kill me when I get in tomorrow. I'd phone in sick but I'd be in even bigger trouble for that.

What can I have possibly have done to be in so much trouble you may ask?

Well, the answer is: Young, disobediant horse refered from this point on as Evil twin 1.

Evl twin 1 looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, but I know different. I have ridden this horse and his slightly more evil twin brother (They most likely aren't related but they look similar and are the same height) a few times. Evil twin 1 loves nothing more than to race round in trot with total disregard for the rider for about 30 minutes before deciding that maybe he should give some attention to them. He is short in the neck, and refuses to lift his shoulders no matter what exercises you use. Getting his head off the ground take all of an hour and means sore shoulders the following day, coupled with sore thighs because of his obsession with eating. I was riding Evil twin 1 yesterday for all of 50 or so minutes. Note that it was not an hour. This is because, 50 minutes into the lesson, fed up of his total determination to NOT canter when asked, I gave him a light tap with the whip. His response was to throw the biggest buck I have ever sat through, before cantering. This I had no problem with, even though I had now lost my left stirrup. Unfortunately for me, I forgot that bit when I turned him left and moved my weight that side. Unsusrprisingly, I fell, landing left side first. Evil twin 1 came to a sudden halt. Got up, unsure whether or not I had damaged a couple of my ribs, the pain was that bad. Quickly realised that that area of me was fine, as was my left leg, if a bit battered and stiff (which it stil is today). My right thumb, however, is a totally different matter. I can move it, but it is extremely painful. Not much that I can do except to strap up my right hand, even if it's fractured. No point in going to A&E because, they woul;d just strap it up with the same bandages we have at home.

So, to sum up, the only task I am going to be capable of doing at work for the next week or so is inputting.

Somehow I don't think my boss is going to be too pleased about this.
