Just to say thanks to everyone who has so far signed the petition calling for the sentence for dangerous driving to be made equal to that of manslaughter. There is still a long way to go, plenty of time to sign the petition. The address incase you missed it is:

Remember, every signature helps to achieve the goal of getting these people who show no remorse for killing some one with their car off the roads for a very long time. The last person convicted of causing death by dangerous driving got just EIGHT YEARS. With good behaviour, they will be out a lot sooner than that. If it was one of my relatives killed by some one driving dangerously and they got the current slap on the wrist, I would be more than a bit miffed, I can assure you. Infact, I would probably be up on murder charges for killing them. I know that no sentence, no matter how long, can replace a loved one, but the knowledge that their killer will not be able to inflict misery on another family for a very long time, must be some cosolation, no matter how small.
! My fingers have also finally regained the will to type coherently, so hopefully normal service will be resumed.
