We have decided that we have no choice but to send Tess to Dog Borstal. I spent an hour in the park with her today, trying in vain to get her to walk to heel. It worked for 5 seconds, then she started pulling again. It maybe something to do with her genetic make up. We were not told by the Dog's Home what the collie was crossed with. I con now reveal that her mother was a Collie and her father was a brick. It certainly accounts for her lack of attention and idiocy.
Can't really comment on work today as I was only in for the morning, so have no gossip or moans. :(
Will not be posting until Sunday as am toddling off on weekend to Northumbria with Mum. I have come to the conclusion that, after 3 years of riding out with them over their country, The College Vally and North Northumberland Hunt, aren't really a hunt pack, they are a mass suicide organisation. The steepness of the hills up there and the speed at which they are taken, are the main factors. Surely anyone who is going to go charging on horseback down an almost perpendicular hill has some sort of death wish (Yes, I do). If I am still intact on Sunday evening when I get home, I will post about the holiday. I will be leaving instructions on how to post on my blog with my parents just in case though.
